Haiti Earthquake Relief Effort

A catastrophic earthquake hit Haiti near its capital Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th. News organizations have called it the worst natural disaster ever.

You can donate $10 to American Red Cross’s relief effort by texting “HAITI” to 90999. Phone companies keep nothing. All of it goes to American Red Cross.

A group of American Idol fans is participating in the fundraising effort by UNICEF. Click HERE to contribute to its effort. Many celebrities, including Kris Allen, Jay Sean and Megan Joy, have showed their support by tweeting the link. UNICEF primarily helps children, who are the most vulnerable.

The New Season Of American Idol Starts

American Idol Season 9 started airing on Tuesday, January 12. Along with the new season and the news of Simon Cowell’s departure after this season, there is a renewed interest in what past idols have to say about American Idol.
