FANS CELEBRATED ANOOP’S 23RD BIRTHDAY ON DECEMBER 20, 2009

Anoop turned 23 on December 20, 2009. Fans celebrated by creating a video montage of birthday wishes for him. Diana led the project, and skillfully put everything together into a very entertaining gift. Thank you, Diana! Quite a lot of fans contributed. Kodos to everyone! A few special mentions go out to Anne Marie, Brooklyn, and Kary who contributed some of the key pieces (i.e., the twitter skits, message from Wolfgang, and video from Michael Sarver, Alexis Grace, David Hernandez, and Gina Glocksen). In addition to the video montage, many birthday wishes were tweeted on December 20. Pablo Vega, whom we know as the composer for AI WAR and musical director for Anoop Desai’s solo concerts, has sent us a thank you gift for our help in spreding the word about AI WAR in the form of a mp3 file, The Christmas Song. Pablo writes: “(snip)…..It’s just the four of us singing. I’m on melody, Anoop (Desai) is singing tenor 1, Brandon (Jackson Baird) is singing bass, and (David) Mikush is on baritone.” Follow this link to listen and download the mp3 file.
