Here is a behind-the-scene footage of Anoop Desai working at the recording studio in Raleigh, NC. Anoop and his publicity team continue to be such a tease and muted the sound. But this shows that things are definitely moving along for Anoop.

Anoop’s official website is soft-launching. If you have not yet done so, go to http://www.anoopdesai.com and register. You will be notified when the site goes fully live. In addition, you will be entered to win one of ten special fan packages.

Anoop Desai Street Team NEEDS YOU!

The Street Team is here to help YOU help ANOOP. Please register (registration HERE) with us if you haven’t yet done so. There will be lots of things we can do together between now, March (i.e., the release of Anoop’s first single “My Name”), and May (i.e., the release of his EP “All Is Fair”). Together, we will help Anoop start his career right!

Now that Anoop’s official website is up, we want to help him ensure that the site shows up at the top of the google search when people google “Anoop” and “Anoop Desai.” There are things we can do to help him with this:

Anoop was on Good Day Atlanta this morning. Anoop’s single “My Name” (which is an R&B-flavored pop song featuring tabla and sitar) will be out in March, and EP “All Is Fair” will be out in early May.

Anoop Desai gives us an update on everything, including Good Day Atlanta tomorrow! Anoop will be on the show during the 8 o’ clock hour.

Anoop’s official MySpace just got a facelift this afternoon with the single and EP info banner on top.

Anoop’s official Facebook page now has the music player on front page rather than on a back tab.

The official YouTube channel now has all of the videos from Anoop’s November UNC Chapel Hill concert.

And of course Anoop continues to interact with his fans on Twitter.

UNC Clef Hangers’ current music director Andrew Simpson discusses their nominations for the 2010 CASA Awards on 1360 WCHL (click HERE for the interview audio links). Clef Hangers are nominated in four categories: Best Male Collegiate Album (Twist); Best Male Collegiate Song (Nude); Best Male Collegiate Solo (Ordinary World by Anoop Desai); and Best Male Collegiate Arrangement (Boondocks by Jonathan Mauney).
